UNBROKEN GRACE Clayton Saunders Clayton Saunders is an international award-winning singer-songwriter and Golden Guitar nominee whose career spans continents, genres, and decades. Born and raised in Calcutta, India, he first rose to prominence at just 17 as a founding member of the pop group The Flintstones, a chart-topping act that dominated the Indian music scene for more than three years.     After immigrating to Melbourne in 1969, Clayton quickly established himself within Australia’s music industry, gaining national exposure as one half of the popular folk/pop duo David and Nawab. By the mid-1970s, he found further success as a founding member of country artist Johnny Chester’s backing band, Hotspur, appearing regularly on the ABC TV program Into Country and contributing to the Top 10 hit “I Love You So Rebecca.”     Clayton continued his success as lead singer of Stoney Creek, earning major accolades including Most Popular Country Personality and a Golden Guitar nomination for his songwriting. In 2023, he was honoured with the Songwriters Salute for his gospel composition “God Knows.”   His latest single, Unbroken Grace, is a moving gospel ballad centred on hope, faith, and resilience—reinforcing Clayton’s enduring belief that great songs connect, heal, and inspire.
