Mystic Rose

 Allow me to introduce you to Mystic Rose!

The duo Mystic Rose comprised of Deby Kelley and Dorie Dupin confirm age is just a number. In this instance, a musical number! While both ladies state they are re-doing their 30’s, they’re not slowing down. They bring an energetic element to their performances, striving to include the audience through participation and delivering the unexpected. The pair journeys through Folk, Country, Rock and Roll, R and B and Americana. The Ladies exude an irresistible passion, energy and an enthusiastic joy for singing.

Deby kicked off her singing profession when she was 9. Her first performance was singing and tap dancing at the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, California. Deby is also a karaoke KJ, and does show’s every week. Her love of music is a shared ancestry with her cousin, the country singer Patsy Cline.  Her primary musical influences are; Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton. Yup, she is all country!  

At the age of 7, Dorie launched her musical profession playing drums in her father’s country band. At 11, she realized she enjoyed songs other than country and began singing them as well. Initially, singing in church and school events. Dorie has been writing for quite some time and the duo is now recording the songs.  Her musical background is diverse and her singing includes country, rock and Celtic.  A few influences are; Eric Clapton, Karen Carpenter, Flogging Molly, Michael Bublé and The Scorpions.  

Both women have acted in the movie industry.  Deby was in The Incredible Shrinking Woman, Mommy Dearest, Bad News Bears and Ghost of Buxley Hall.

Dorie has taken part in multiple TV shows i.e.: The Drew Carey Show, ER, The Practice, Married with Children, Suddenly Susan, and Stephanie Eckland on Babylon 5. Dorie also performed in movies such as Jurassic Park Lost World, Good Bye Lover, Fire Down Below, and Fled, to mention a few.

The team constantly creates original ideas and applies them through their musical performances. They enjoy donning elaborate costumes complete with LED lights and using props to the delight of crowds. Not surprisingly, they have won awards and placed in various competitions both locally and nation-wide.

Their first release was an endeavor merging the Country/Pop genre song, “The Rose”, with Celtic and Folk nuances resulting in a song pleasing to the ear and very warming to the heart. They released a Christmas album, “Lonely Here At Christmas Time” for 2025 and just released their first album for 2026 called “Fee Fi Fo Fum” which is all original songs.  

Mystic Rose is currently working on new projects, and reworking existing songs with a comedic take! Their intent is to bring a little joy and laughter.  They are definitely trendsetters and venturing into as of yet, unexplored territory.
